Remove file from system on PL

This is really a small request, just some detail but for persons that has way many songs it's really welcome.

I'm just able to delete files from system, when I selected them on the Media Library frame. When they are on the Playlist, I just have the option "remove" which means it will only remove from the playlist.

So I need to search for the file (using the search built-in) and just after that I can remove from my system through Winamp.

It's just an extra sub-menu at the Playlist frame, but it will make huge difference for people that use that feature.

I'm sorry. Cannot find such a button.

Can you post SS?

To be certain, you talking about the Playlist Editor (AKA default playlist)?

In the Playlist Editor panel. The Rem button is represented with the minus button [ - ]. Actual appearance of the Rem button will vary with the skin.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

That's it. Never thought of clicking on the [-] button, because when I rollover it, it shows "Remove from playlist". So I thought it was playlist only.

Thanks a lot for the info. You can move/close the topic if need.

You're welcome.

There is something else worth pointing out...

Winamp > Ctrl+P (for Preferences) > General Preferences
About midway down in the right pane is a option "Recycle permanently deleted files". If you select/check-mark that, that will send the "Physically Remove from Disk" deleted files to the Recycle Bin. That way if you accidentally delete a wanted file, you can recover it from the Windows Recycle Bin.

Is it possible to make it so that when i have a file selected in the playlist and i hit the DELETE button it removes it from the HDD as well?
I know i can go through REM-> REMOVE -> Physicaly bla bla
But what i want is a direct way to permanently delete a file from the playlist as well as the hard drive.

Is there such a plugin or smth?
Or eventually something that would allow me to use a key combo like Shift+Delete on a playlist file (which would of course delete from both the playlist as well as hard drive)?

In addition I have remembered that DrO's playlist file remover has such hotkey support built in and can either delete permanently, move to recycle bin or to a custom folder.

hope it helps.
