Official Winamp 5.0 Modern Skin Colour Themes Thread
This thread has two purposes:
1. You can download additional Color Themes for the Winamp Modern Skin. 2. You can post your own Color Themes for Modern Skin. How to do it: Step 1) Get Winamp 5 Step 2) Make your colourthemes using the Winamp Color Editor. Step 3) Post them in this thread. I want the XML in [php][/php] tags, and an attached image of your theme in action. Step 4) Goto 2. 1. Downloading Winamp Color Editor Installer There is a new installer with additional Color Themes for Winamp Modern Skin. Installer is a distribution of Color Themes You have created and shared with us in this thread. You can download it directly using below link: Winamp Color Themes Installer [v4.1, September 2020] Installation process is very easy and intuitive. Installer contains also Color Themes for Modern Skin and Winamp Color Editor. You can find more informations here. After having finished you should start Winamp with Modern Skin as active skin. If Winamp is already running hit F5 if Modern Skin is active otherwise select Modern Skin as your active skin. You can access the new Color Themes in the same list as the default ones are implemented. Have fun with them and check this thread for new Themes from time to time. 2. Posting own Color Themes In order to create Color Themes you should download Winamp Color Editor and start to edit / create themes with it (color themes installer now contains Color Editor (v2.2.1)). Do not forget to click 'Save Themes' when you close Winamp or refresh the skin. To submit your themes click the 'Export' button and post the new theme(s)code as quote/php in this thread. PHP Code:

hmmm...i think this might b the only time that i WANT to make a colour theme. ive just seen the new interface of winamp5 and i really like it. the last screenie i saw of it was a piece of shit compared to this one.

Could you explain the -4096 to 4096 to me a bit more? Is this value what is to be added to the current colour to get what you want (i.e. the difference) or is it something else? I'm getting mixed results. Some of my colours are coming right but others aren't.

Great idea! I was looking at that XML file too, and fiddling with numbers a few days ago.
I gave up though, cuz of a couple buttons (PL and ML) that would change color and not match the rest. Even though I was getting some good color choices. But I see from the screenshots here, there's nothing that can be done about those buttons I guess, so maybe I'll try again, lol. |
