I just got a letter about our prom. There is no fucking chance I'm going.
£26 for a 4 course meal (what the hell is the 4th course?), then we can go to the disco for about 3 hours, where non-alcaholic beverages only will be served. Add to that £30 for a tuxedo, and I'm splashing out around £50-60. For one night. Where I will be under the influence of nothing. The prom can get bent.

I went to the prom with my ex boyfriend while I was in the US because everyone told me it would be something unforgettable and since he wated to go really bad and we don't have that kind of thing over here I said yes. He got a stretch limousine and everything, I felt really bad that he has to spend that much money but he didn't want to let me pay for anything. We had a great time though, , here is a picture of us, taken about 4 years ago
