"snow" noise after pause

Each time i pause a song or video on the winamp and then press it again to continue hearing/watching the sound turn into "snow" (like on the old tv's when you didnt get any signal).
I tryed it with mp3, cds, and avi files and with all got the same result.
I run winamp 5.32, winxp sp2, and the sound is on the motherbourd (asus p5pl2).

got a clue what's the problem???
