Is Sonique Dead?

I've noticed for the last couple of weeks that http://www.sonique.com hasn't been updated. I don't think it's been updated since they took the Mantis technology demo down. And now I can't seem to access the site at all. Is it just my connection or is the site really down?

Could this mean... <ominous music> ... that Sonique is dead?

http://sonique.lycos.com/ is partially working.
This will be a shame for wasabi, if sonique is indeed dead, as it will have no worthy competition. (as WiMP doesn't count)

neither did I when this thread started. But I can't access anything now... well http://sonique.lycos.com works but neither the pictures or the links work.

Yeah, I can't access any of the Sonique site today. It was fine yesterday and several days before that.

No, Sonique is not dead. We (the collective forum group) have "spoken" (at least to a certain extent) to the mods/team and their tight-lipped. And reclusive.... But I'm sure they'd tell us if it was DEAD.

And, no, I'm not some Sonique zealot, I use it and Winamp and C-4 at different times depending on what's wanting to work (like today, neither Winamp OR Sonique do).

And, yes, I agree with Kapil. You're all bad, bad people

they're back and um.... not updated or anything...

they haven't yet mentioned that sonique 1.95 is finished, plays movies (that's what they said), and a couple bug fixes...

just change the download link to 195, if you're curious
