some visualizations freeze
Sometimes when I use milkdrop some of the visualization freeze and then when the next one comes it goes back to normal. If I try to replay the frozen visual it works. I downloaded a huge pack of visualizations before this problem got even worse. Any idea of what the problem could be? Any help would be great, thanks.

What do you mean be freeze ? For how long ? Examples ?
Some presets use large textures, these take time to load. Some presets are shader intensive and to compile them may just overload your machine Having a large number of presets and textures in one folder may also increase loading times. |

You know when the visualizer changes every so many seconds? The visualizer would stop moving when it switches than when it changes to the next one it starts moving again back to normal. The visualizer becomes static until it switches to the next one. I have 2250 presets and 35 textures in my folder. I have some old folders for backup use in my milkdrop2 folder. That should not effect anything, right?

No, normally not, and 2250 is certainly not over the top. If the preset changes are not smooth, the reason is normally too large textures or too complex presets for your machine to compile on the fly. Maybe it helps to increase the image cache under Visualisation / configure / Artist tools.
