Winamp Wallpaper in 3D
Hello,
my first attempt in creating 3D wallpapers using the free 3D software Blender. While searching for an "inspiration" I had a close look at the collection of beautiful wallpapers from Victhor's Komodo Wallpaper Series which you can browse on DeviantArt. |

This is the first time that I see a rude bot.. Lol.
As for the work itself, I like more the first version (maybe I just like more that logo specifically), but it's remarkable anyway considering is the first time playing with Blender. I wouldn't be able to do half of that! These forums should have some form of featured slide for threads like this one so people don't miss it. I've just noticed it! ![]() |

Oh yeah, the are evolving ... (I am hesitating whether to add a smiling face or a mad one. Today this may be funny, in 10 years we will not see the difference anymore and the troubles will begin.) It is fun to draw in 3D! ![]() Too bad you cannot learn just by doing but by watching (tutorials). And this can be a very time consuming endeavor. There are ALWAYS 10 different approaches to achieve the same result, and hundreds and hundreds of videos, which all promise the best and fastest way, to get there. |
