Another two pics and a new clue for this one-word Californian band. They formed in 1992 and released their first album in 1997 on V2. The third one was released last year.

Correct, of course, Egg.

"I used to be Wild Willy Barrett ... but now I'm livid".

He managed to shake off John Otway for a while and put out a solo album during the 90s - 'Open Toed and Flapping' . Excellent stuff if you like accoustic music and lots of fun.
