Good news, FGTH reforming. For shows of course.

The smart money was on half of them dying of aids before the end of 1990, but I lost my £5..... I'd see 'em if they came my way.

Two Tribes
Relax
The Power of Love

And Holly can still sing.

Tina just recognised a Clan of Xymox track. This is a boy-band fanatic we're talking about.

I play all kinds of stuff (on random). Sometimes I don't know what's in my own playlist! It was a pleasure to hear "that's Clan of Xymox".

10 points awarded thus.

Just quoting from their official website

As if you would anyway..!
But just in case you need reminding :On 23rd February Westlife release their new single Obvious taken from their album turnaround and has an instantly memorable chorus-a simple love song, beautifully performed by Westlife doing what they do best.
It will be available on 2 CDs-CD 1 features an exclusive Flying Without Wings/My Love and Mandy medley , and CD2 features a brand new track (I’m missing Loving You) ,To Be With You (live) and the obvious Video and “Making of”....

Its something for both the eyes and ears ………Only two days to go…..
Lemme mention their last album Turnaround sold over 150 000 copies in it's first week of release in the UK.....

Best luck to Westlife

Sad.

150,000 girls throwing pocket-money down the drain. They could've bought the BRMC album instead. Thank god I had boys (rock n roll).

But I hate boy bands.

Girl bands are a different story, though.

I was sat in the little social room thing in school today listening to joy division over my mp3 player. Minding my own business. Then what do i hear over the top of this. Five. Yes. I swear, someone put on that album, loudly. I regret not hitting him.

Certainly.

Indie is an 'alternative' to the mainstream.

The word 'indie' derives from the small 'independent' record-labels that signed the bands. Labels such as:

Factory Records
Creation
4AD

I think you get the gist.........

Some bands also have their own lables, so they can retain full control and full profit from their work. I guess these would be included with Indies.

The main drawback is that the mainstream companies have all the big promotion and distribution deals sewn up.

I guess it's Robert Miles, but I could be wrong
