You should consider to open a new port for your connection with https protocol.

Has anyone been able to resolve this issue? 403 on SSL play stream and admin.cgi

Ssl is only available on the stream. The webadmin unfortunately not. Sometimes an access denied occurs... Then a reboot is the only way to fix it. Maybe a new release will resolve these issues.
