a-b repeat is more of a specialist feature and is better done as a dedicated plugin imho

i disagree, winamp doesn't allow for smooth plugin integration

Take a look at the plugin options... Winamp forces the plugin to open a separate bulky window, and the only way to start or stop these type of plugins is to go into preferences to enable/disable it, close and re-start winamp. NOT what I would call an effective use of plugins.

Plugins are for "extra" features. A-B repeat is a staple on any CD or DVD player.
