SD card troubles...

Hello everyone! Scenario for you, I have a 32 GB PNY Class 10 Micro SD card, I put the card in, formatted it in the phone, phone is Motorola Atrix...then using Winamp, started the sync of all of my music, it'll just fit, around 28 GB's total. When it was around half way done transferring my music, I had a power outage. Afterwards assuming I had one corrupt music file on the SD card, my phone reboots randomly now. Does it not know how to handle a single corrupt file and is freaking out or is it just me thinking this? Because I really don't want to have to re-format my SD card every time something happens and it gets a single corrupt file. Just trying to find out a fix for this versus formatting my card countless amounts of times. Also trying to find out if it's Winamp, the card itself, my phone, or what. Thanks in advance!
