Do YOU know what software can do this?

Hello.

I need some software that can do the following:

I am currently using a task scheduler, Winamp and WMP to switch tracks (to the second) and play and overlap jingles.



Example:
I need to play URL 1 from 2pm - 4pm then stop it
then (crossfade) play a random jingle from jingle folder
then (crossfade) start URL 2 from 4pm - 6pm
then (crossfade) play a random jingle from jingle folder
then (crossfade) play random tracks from folder X from 6pm - 8pm
then (crossfade) play a random jingle from jingle folder
then (crossfade) play URL 1

etc
etc.

All day everyday!

I have this all working at the moment by scheduling WMP to play a URL and Winamp to play a jingle over the last few seconds then WMP to start the new stream/tracks.

Also

The problems i have are that if URL 1 (or 2) is down and WMP tries to play it just stops and no music plays until i realise or for the next 2 hours until the next scheduled task starts.

IS THERE SOFTWARE AROUND THAT CAN DO THIS? I DONT MIND PAYING FOR IT.

I spoke to the people at SAM Broadcaster and SAM cannot do this.

replies can take more than a day in this forum.

you might be able to get close to it with the Transcoder and it's calendar functions especially if you're trying to do specific relaying of existing streams (from what you seem to be trying to use).
