Still playing with the last one I posted. Playing around with the vecor length a bit (thanks, Rova) has some interesting effects.

Many thanks

Here's another mod I did last night but didn't get a chance to post. I don't even remember what it looks like.

(This is actually Illusion, just under a diff. name)

Very nice stuff indeed unchained, both versions rock. Also, Elite vectronics was awesome, and freak train & jaundice was good too.

Other nice presets recently IMHO have been the multiverse starfield ones - very nice & very original, and I really like a couple of techno's new presets, simple yet effective - multicolor and alternating warper were excellent for a newbie. BTW, I'm assuming you meant "warper" not "wraper" techno

Note to Rova: if you could help me get my "real" username etc. back soon it would be appreciated... I sent you an email about it... thankyou...

Unchained:

They are nice presets but I would like you to try something 'different'. I fear that your preset could start to look a bit 'samey'.

With that controversial statement a brace myself for the onslaught of your many adoring fans.

Illusion:

Cannot do anything. I have no power to do that...only half a mod really.
You are probably better off posting again on the general tech support boards where someone will be able to help you.

Sent you an email and ICQ....

It's funny, unchained's legion of fans have been remarkably quiet lately Maybe if his fans weren't all just figments of his slightly deluded imagination they might post here with comments

Thanks for the help Rova, sent you another email in reply..

Illusion Unchained will be hurt by your commments these people are obviously real. It is just that Unchained is running low on funds at the moment and cannot afford to bribe them to post. We will have to wait until his next pay day to see the comments.

Anyway here is a mod of one of Unchained latest randomness.

Doh, i'm losing my fanbase!

*rushes out to wire money to shnucks*

I know they're all looking pretty much the same these days. I was more interested in beat detection than anything else, but short of a major brainstorm I can't think of much else to do with it.

I might try for another shot at the multiple effects in a single preset approach soon...but then people will whine that they're too big/slow.

It looks fairly certain that I'll be leaving tomorrow, so you'll probably be seeing some more "creative" work from me once I'm set up in my new headquartes.

One fan will stand clearly by your side..

I´ll look forward to your next big/slow presets, they will look very cool/interesting for sure and if they are really too slow, then I will buy a new CPU. Easy

and.. Beat detection is important as hell in my view.
As long as the presets are good looking and interesting, it is not a problem when they look the same (to a certain degree).

Yeah, in all honesty, I really do like what you are doing with your presets now unchained. I'd have to agree with Jessail that similarity is OK to a certain degree, as long as they look cool.... so keep up the good work - it would be great to see something new, but what you're doing now is great too....

Oh yeah, merging effects from a couple of good presets often can look very cool. Bass kaleidosphere has come in handy for me on more than a couple of occasions just to get a bit more beat reaction in, but I'm sure yours will be miles better, I promise not to complain if they're slow as long as they look cool

Hehehe, indeed.

Welp, halfway across the country and back, with little to show for it. I had a few ideas for presets during my far-too-much time alone in the car, so y'all will probably be seeing something newish as soon as I finally manage to get caught up on some sleep. (I think my eyeballs would melt if I tried to stare at milkdrop right now)

Did you move interstate or something unchained? Where to?

BTW, it would be good to have some more original presets - the boards have been kinda quiet the last month or so. Wonder where SM has gone??
