Unfortunately, fine control over the movement of the MVs is impossible. They aren't even supposed to move at all. The recent preset you've seen with moving MVs (Rova did most of them) use a hack I wrote to get the mvs to move interestingly. Rovastar expanded on it, to get what you see now.

Maybe in a later version. Though we're starting to get up to a massive number of variables, and things might start slowing down. (OTOH, puters are getting faster all the time, and we all have to upgrade someday, right?)

Well then

Ok so i cant get the mv's to mvoe but what about this can i divide the screen into 3 parts example left and right side move up and center moves down?

I am looking for a specific effect of movement say kinda like a slot machine. where all 3 parts move at a varios speed and after time they line up.

time to work on some more.

Dividing the screen into thirds like you describe is easiily doable.

In per_pixel:

dy = if(above(abs(x-0.5),1.66),0.1,-0.1);

Making it so the sides eventually lined up with the middle is possible, but could be complicated. You'd have to sit down and work out the equations.
