more likely because it's not doing it after every other song going on the prior attempt to do things (as per http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=345992).

if that's the case, and this thread is a result of trying to do what was in the other thread ... why start a new thread? seems a bit wee tod it

it probably does belong in there, but there is a seemingly common tendency of late by a lot of people to just create new threads when the original is getting them what they want. if this is a similar thing then i'll merge it but need to get clarification of what the OPs issue actually is.

I know if you clock on the link provided ... Firefox tries to download the "file" ... perhaps it's a "listen.pls" link he wants
or maybe it's an "internal" server, and he's trying to use an external ip, so he gets NOTHING it's the old "Shoutcast people have ESP so all I have to say is it doesn't work, and they'll fix it for me while I sit around and do nothing" syndrome ![]() "If you don't like DNAS, write your own damn system" So I did |

When embedding "http://94.249.175.7:8000/listen.asx" with jw player in my forum, player gives an error message like "Video not found or access denied to http://94.249.175.7:8000/test.aac."
Then I go to http://94.249.175.7:8000/test.aac, It gives me a bunch of symbols. I think it should try to pop a download. Thank you. |

use the right playlist format (pls or m3u is far better supported in players) and ensure that the player _supports_ aac streams - not all do especially those based on flash.
and when reporting 'issues', please provide more complete information as it's no use to you or anyone else having to guess at what might be going on - like how your issue turned out to be different from what was expected. -daz |
