Media Library Album to All Album Tracks

Certain of my albums are compilations or the like, with each track having a different artist.

When those artists are shown in the Media Library, I can click on the artist name and see the album and tracks by that artist displayed.

Is there any way to get from the displayed album to /all/ tracks on the Album, including those where the artist is /not/ the artist I originally selected?

Thanks.

In my experience with Winamp 5, it reads the album to get the info. I can click on say, The Strokes - Is this it, and it'll show that album in the info box, and when I click on a song from Room on Fire, it'll show Room On Fire... Hmmmm I think that It just doesn't have those albums in the database, so it searches for the artist instead.

Not sure if I understand the question....

but if all tracks are on the same album,
isn't *that* album title listed in the album view?
(library -> local media -> audio -> top right pane -> album)

It should be.

And when you click it, all tracks on it should appear in the bottom pane.

Then again, it all depends on a few things...
What file formats you're using (eg. is the album encoded to mp3)
Whether your files are all properly tagged
(eg id3 v1 / v2 tags for mp3 files)
And is the "album" field correct in the tag? (for all tracks)

Or did the files have no tags, and the library tried to guess them based on folder\filename ?

This is what I get. I think it's the same problem as ComiXEviL. The library won't display the tracks and instead displays album information. I've tried to change that pane to track listing but I couldn't do it in the Library Options screen.

Yeah, what you describe is what I'm asking for, and what I expected.

But it's not what's happening.

All my ID3 tags are in order. For most tracks I have both Id3 v2.3 and ID 3 v1. Because in a few cases the 1.1 and 2.3 tags are different, I can tell the library is using the 2.3 tags (which is good).
