Windows Media Audio/Video Codecs

Hello,

I have a simplified version of Windows XP that doesn't have the WMA/WMV codecs. Last time I installed Winamp I noticed it downloaded and installed the codecs for me. However, I was unable to find the codecs myself on the web. Can anybody help me find these codecs for future reference? (I have already tried a few codec packs - no luck)

Hi

This is the WMP9 codec package that the Winamp installer attempts to download and install for WinXP machines (if the codecs are missing):
http://download.nullsoft.com/redist/wm/wmfdist95.exe

However, afaik, it will only work if WMP's wmvcore.dll core library is present and registered in the C:\Windows\system32 dir.
