Issue with Jump to File

I recognized a bug in Jump to File yesterday. Downloaded the latest Winamp release to confirm it today.

Bug description:
  • add some arbitrary songs to the playlist
  • start playing the first of them
  • open Jump to File
Now the currently played song will not be selected. In comparison, this works with every other entry in the playlist - just when the very first song is played it isn't pre-selected in the Jump to File box.

i've tried and i'm not able to replicate this in either classic or modern skin types or between the skinned and non-skinned version of the jtf window.

I just tried it on another PC. Uninstalled Winamp and reinstalled the latest version.

Maybe you didn't get me right the first time, and we talked about different things here, so I'll try to explain the bug again:

When you open JTF, then the currently played song is selected. (This is quite convenient - So I just press Ctrl + Alt + J; then Q; then ESC; and the currently played song will be played twice) However - when the very first song in the playlist of Winamp is playing, then Winamp doesn't select this song, but the alphabetically first song in the list.

To reproduce, make sure that the first song in the playlist isn't the alphabetically 'smallest' and JTF displays the songs sorted alphabetically ("Disable sorting of the search results in the window" in the UI options has to be disabled)

that was the key part missing from the first post, can reproduce it now. will try to get it resolved for the next release (good thing i didn't do one today as i'd initially thought off doing).

found the cause of the issue and will be in the next release of the plug-in (hopefully some time this month...). and obviously if the search results are limited and the current item is not in what is allowed to be shown then the first item in the results will be highlighted (just wanted to clarify that just in-case that gets raised as an issue).

Of course I meant ALT + Q...

Sry - I was missing the sorting option because I guessed this was the default.
