Shoutcast and repeaters/relayers
Hello. I'm wondering if it's possible to configure shoutcast to relay music from one shoutcast server to another, similar to radio stations having "fill-in repeaters".... mostly in case one server gets maxed-out with listeners... I'll explain what i mean.
I have Server A configured to handle 100 listeners. If it has 100 listeners, further people can't tune in... which is why i'm wondering if it's possible to duplicate the signal and send it to a second shoutcast server (or for a shoutcast stream to listen in), and then relay it so a further 100 can listen. |

yes, you can have a second server which accepts another server as a relay (if using a v2 DNAS then there is an explicit option in the stream configuration blocks to do with - i've no idea about the v1 DNAS though that must be able to do it as well from what i've read).
