Download Button broken

whats up with the download button, it just refreshes the page and adds a /# to the end of the URL?

If you didn't hear already, a datacenter in France caught fire and the winamp site and forums happened to be in that datacenter. Both were down for about 9 days. So there might still be some issues to be worked out.

oh, i heard about the datacenter fire, i wasnt aware that affected Winamp.

What you could download from Winamp.com was an incomplete beta. The last stable release is available at MeggaMusic.

But if for some reason you really want the beta then you can get it from the Nullsoft archive.

did you notice that you can find any winamp download on that page as i posted.
Just scroll down and you can find any winamp version even winamp 3.

It was just the first link that came up in google.

because there are older version just as stable as the last stable release.
I have 5.56 running on my system and it's perfectly stable.
on another computer even 5.31 full version with 3th party plugins.

So it's not only the last release that is stable enough to run.
