Going old school here.

NES: Duck Hunt with the Orange Gun
Spent so much time as a kid on that game and it was simple and to the point. :P Also, marksmanship at an early age ain't all that bad either.

system shock 2 can never be beaten. it has everything you could ever possibly want in a game. a total, helpless sense of fear, a fantastic plot, some *decent* weaponary (not a rocket launcher in sight!), an inventory that is actually used (you actually run out os space in it!). it is, in every respect, perfect (and it has a forum member in it)

Super metriod is a extremly cool game, yet I've never got to play it to much...I was one of those unfortunate kids that only had a Genisis insted of a SNES

My HomeBoy's RPG tast is the complete opposite to ours...He Hated FFVII Loved FFVIII & FFIX. He always teases me for liking FFVII...But I Beat IT AND HE HASEN'T!!!! HAHAHA (he has almost beaten every game for almost every system so my statement speakes Valumes...I mean Volumes. Speaking of Drugs me and him (together) beat Soul Reaver Stoned....That game fucked our heads up!!! We would play for hours until we would solber up, then we would smokes some more and play some more.... I started seeing shit and started...We thought Razele would be cool to smoke with...Good Times

Barbie Riding School on PC...j/k

I don't really have one.. I played Mario/DuckHunt all the time when I was a kid, along with the Sonic games...but my all time favorite, would be Counter Strike for PC.

time to play.

I concur, that is a very good snes game, but not my fav.

Right now, BF1942 would have to be my fav, but MOO3 might take over whenever they patch the hell out of it.

I've got quite a few...

Sonic 2 & Sonic & Knuckles/Sonic 3 from the Sega Genesis, Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the PSX. Other PSX games included Gex 3 Deep Cover Gecko, Twisted Metal 3, THPS2, Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX, and Test Drive 6. For the Sega Dreamcast, it was Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 for mindless hours. For the PS2, it's THPS3, Bloody Roar 3, NFS:Hot Pursuit 2, GT3, GTA4, and Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero.

Although I sold the Sega Genesis, and I don't play with the DC very much anymore, I found a Sonic 3/Sonic & Knucles/Sonic 3 & Knuckles collection CD for the PC. Old times revisited...

[edit]Pokémon G/S for the GB...Yes, I know, and fuck you too...I only like it because of how fun the game is to play, I'm not with "them"...[/edit]

A very close Japanese friend I knew a while ago once said to me "Watashi no koto wo oboeta, onegai shimasu...Yakusoku?"

I forgot his name though...

Console - Super Metroid (The only video game of its kind ever that i started over immediately after beating it for the first time).

I love the total anniliation line, except for kingdoms. it's the only game I ever played where the computer has a realistic chance of kicking your ass at almost every turn, no matter how many times you play it. except for open sea skirmishes. I rule the PC, and most people in open sea skirmishes in TA.

any GT titles, sega GT 2002 rocks!

Total Annihilation is the best real time stragity game ever, not including any command and conquer titles, they good 2, max payne (though i finshed it in 3 days, has a great storey line), if they made a real time stragity ver. of civilisation (they might of, that would be good.

I think it would be cool if they developed a game where you have unlimited possiblities, like, u'd start out choosing a time period, and then costomize your character, then it says good bye and have nice game. that would rock .

umm, as for some older copnsole games, i thought mario cart (SNES), both zelda's, er, tony hawk 4, 2 and 1, (3 sucked) and super smash bros (N64)

Hard to say really, depends on what level you are wanting to play..

Console wise, It'd probably be FF7, spent more time than was healthy playing that when it came out, 8, 9 and 10 just don't seem to cut it.

Arcade wise, it'd have to be Bubble Bobble, been playing that on one format or another for as long as I can remember, all the way back to the ZX spectrum home comp, atari ST, PS1 and now I'm playing it on my GBAsp

One's I keep going back to?, statergy wise I still love to play two ancient war games that I had back in the early '80's, Lords of Midnight and Doomdarks Revenge, I'm even more stoked lately that I can run them on emulators on my GBAsp, so I can carry them around in my pocket

Coin op wise, Gauntlet II consumed a lot of 10p's in my youth, ahhhh, the memories of getting noobies to join in, only so I could get more food and treasure generated, which I'd promptly run around as an elf and nab it all, heh "green elf has eaten all the food lately".....

Old school
mario cart: : )

Newer games
fallout 2: (great plot, loads of in jokes and geek humour (they even took a character from my favourite episode of red dwarf which was in turn a parody of a great star trek episode I think) and mad max style extreme violence, who wouldnt love this game?)
Half life: I have dont have a very good computer (my dad got it for doing work so went with the cheapest option for graphics (8bit onboard video card that doesnt even support opengl..) so this is one of the only fps' I'm able to run thanks to its software mode option, and it has taken over my life. When I get my new computer I'm playing through it again in high res opengl mode before half life 2 comes out.
