Very true, have you seen Metroid Prime Pinball for the DS that comes with it's own free plugin rumble pak?

Mind you from the review it got I doubt Nintendo would get away charging people for it

Resident Evil's backgrounds are all pre-rendered, so the first-person knife-fights only happen at certain locations. I'm pretty sure.

no pre-rendered at all in RE....i wouldnt mind seeing some square pre-rendered rpgs like FF7,8 and 9 though.

square already has FF1+2 on gba with 3 being remade for ds and 4,5,6 also coming to gba this year...next would be 7 right??

thats a HELL of alot of support they've given to nintendo dont you think?

.........?.

LOL, FF7 on the DS would rock hard. I've never played it (or even seen it) but isn't that a lot of people's "Best game ever"?

yeah right.....i believe you

the games nostalgia factor is just as big as nes mario is in japan. the game may not technically be the best gameplay-wise, but it gives off that same feeling as playing LoZ:OoT for the first time.

the way the first disc of the game ended is the single most memorable moment in any game EVER....you should play it just to rationalize why people didnt go for the n64 even with its zelda.

That's actually what I was thinking of, it seems like its fan following mirrors that of Ocarina. I might check it out over the winter break, if I can get my hands on it.

To me, FFVI and FFVII tie for overall coolness. VII has more content/better graphics, but the story in VI manages to develop characters without removing the player from the experience, at least in my opinion. When it gets remade, I'm playing it for months on end.

Original 3. They're going up the line. So far they've covered 1 & 2 on GBA, and are working on 3.

indeed its a remake of the original 3 for the nes never realeased in the u.s; in any form. they arent really remaking them they are just porting the other final fantasy's for the gba. 4 comes out pretty soon and 5 and 6 will follow. they will come out for gba unless all of a sudden the system stops selling by it self. then they will realease them for the d.s. but i doubt that will happen especially since the micro just came out and is doing pretty well. the only reason they are giving three some special attention was because its coming out on the d.s. and its never been out in the u.s. before. there are hardly even any translations on the roms. and the fact that 3 started alot of the things that final fantasy is known for like summoning. they are realeasing a mana game too. its in 2d so it might come out sooner. then again they might take their time with it since legend of mana and sword of mana werent received well.

original nes japanese final fantasy 3

I and II were remade, actually. They look much better than the screenshots you've posted of III, because the graphics engine was redone.

Screenshot of I:

for any one too lazy or reluctant to follow the link. and to keep the frame from breaking incase it gets posted anywhere else.

screenshots of final fantasy 3 for the ds in the attatchment.

your right phyl but what i meant was that im pretty sure that 3 was going to be the last one remade. I and II wernt even really remade they were ports of I & II for the playstation. the pictures of 4 on the gba look like they left the game alone.

Burnout Legends

even though the cars dont look as spectacularly shiny in the video as they do in consoles or psp. the environments dont seem to be as blocky and plain as they appear in most of the psp shots. slow mo, speed blur, sparks, and whatnot all in tact in burnouts ds cousin.

you must not of played it because the gba version of ff4 looks many, many, many times better then the original snes version.(especially during battle)

go google some shots of the snes ff4 and see how big the difference is.

MarioKart was possible the best game on the 64 and gamecube, and it is definitely the best one on the DS.

Come on man, it was already free on gamecube I'd rather have an original ds zelda with an OoT-like engine, but that's just me.

Yeah quite right, lets have a proper Zelda game, I've played ocarina to death already , the only fun to be had there would be playing it sat on the crapper instead of having to hook up to the TV set

probably because there's no good way to get pictopics onto the computer. I can take a picture of my DS screen with my webcam, but it'd be easier to just draw the pic on the computer.

I'd be cool if they could turn it into a media player, especially if you were able to connect CF or USB memory to it, like you can't do with a PSP.
