untimely cuts to the stream

Hello,

Since we use a box barix instreamer 100 to send the stream to our server, we encounter some problems causing the cut of the stream.

Here are the different problematic logs encountered:

Does anyone have an idea about the sources of the problem?

You are feeding the DNAS with different samplerates. When you are trying to read the WARN messages in the log-file, then you should see it:

Frame settings changed, could cause playback problems: samplerate 22050(44100)
Frame settings changed, could cause playback problems: samplerate 0(44100)

Make sure that all your files have the same samplerate (44100) and bitrate. Samplerate 22050hz or lower will not work correctly.

That's what I understood too, but we did not change our music files but only our means of sending to the server. We used butt, but now we use a barix instreamer 100. The problem has appeared since this change.

Is the fact that the barix sends the stream in VBR can be a problem?

Ok, donc il n'y a aucun moyen de régler ce problème si nous continuons d'utiliser le barix instreamer 100 (il ne gère pas le CBR) ?

Selon le manuel du instreamer il supporte VBR et CBR
"Audio formats
• MP3, encoding/decoding up to 192/320kbps
• VBR and CBR support
• PCM 16bit @8, 16, 22.05, 24, 32, 44.1, 48 kHz
• G.711, uLaw, aLaw (sample rates same as PCM)"
