Playlist Save Hangs UI (Still)

WinAMP 5 was otherwise working fine for me, except that if I try to save a playlist, the UI hangs for several hours (4 hours later, the save dialog appears).

I run Windows 10 Pro and it is up to date.

I installed this 5.9 version today, thinking the old version wasn't fully compatible with Windows 10, and it seems to be identical to the earlier version and has the same problem when I try to save playlist. It hangs the UI. Music continues to play, but I have no ability to interact with WinAMP.
