I agree, but mostly is the story before the old father was in the caves...

We'll have to wait and see

Looks like any other standard horror style movie, with the words Exorcist tacked on to make it sell.

Although I did read somewhere that this version is actually the second version they have filmed of it, there was another version that was handed into the studios by the original director, the studios didn't like and they either fired the director or he walked, leaving them with an unsellable movie, so they started over from scratch with a new director.

The fan community is apparently trying to get warner to release this rough original version on DVD at some point.

It's also the second version of the trailer. The first one was considered too scary. So, clearly the ad-execs decided to tone it down with some backwards footage of the first film.

Maybe the DVD wil contain both versions of both movies and both trailers.
