Winamp making me DL WMP?

I've been using Winamp for years, and I love it. I just formatted my computer and I am in the process of restoring everything to the way I like it. When winamp loads certain songs from my play list, a popup comes up directing me to Microsoft Windows Media Player download. Is there anyway I can stop these?

It's likely you need the most up to date codecs for Windows Media audio and video files.

If you don't want to download WMP go to the WM site and download the codecs package.

Hope this helps, jmat

Actually, it means they are WMA files. And they might require a lost license, as well as the latest Windows Media codecs to play. It's the nature of the beast when it comes to WMA.
