Halo Players get laid far more than Mario gamers. There I said it. Some while playing halo... Good news for me since I'll probably get to see it the night before for free.

Halo IS far sexier. Just listening to "Bomb Armed, Bomb Planted" has been known to spontaneously cause pregnancy in several instances.

And don't even bring up what Killtaculars can do...

would it piss you off if in the halo movie they dipicted master cheif as an ex covenant? he was sort of like what blade is to vampires. and that is the reason they keep him caged and asleep.

Master chief gets absolutely no nookie and understands the covenant pretty well, just like those ugly little smart assed grunts. I wish you could play as Grunts, Brutes and Hunters on Xbox live.

Just got the new Xbox magazine out of the mailbox which has an article on the movie. Nothing new to report, sounds like at least 2007 befoe it hits screens HOWEVER,

Max Payne is being developed for 20th Century Fox.

Vin Diesel is signed to exec produce and play Agent 47 in Hitman.

Corey Yuen began directing Dead Or Alive in China in June.

In October, Doom will be released starring The Rock and Karl Urban.

It's all about what you get used to. I've played FPS's with both a keyboard/mouse and a gamepad (heck, I've configured Halo: CE to use both simultaneously just to see how I do) and I can use both proficiently. There's only an advantage to one or the other in limited respects that seem surprisingly balancing. For instance, it is (IMO) much much easier to turn tightly with a gamepad, but aiming with a mouse is more straightforward and allows greater accuracy.

I've played with a gamepad in predominantly keyboard environments and survived just fine. Neither is inherently better as a whole. The only bad configuration is one with badly configured sensitivities, which might be why gamepads get a bad rap in FPSs. People commonly set them either too slow or too twitchy and when a different, less error-prone input comes along, it shows.

I hooked up the xbox controller directly to my brain. Way better than a key board and mouse. Then I hooke a keyboard and mouse directly to my brain and wow it was like the matrix.

Valid points though.

If any game-to-movie will ever be good, it'll be Halo. Bungie has posted a few updates on their site about progress, and they're really making sure everyone involved doesn't screw with the story. They're making sure the creative forces they will put behind the movie actually "get it".

occams-razor - in the simplest terms that if there are multiple answers or theories to a dilemma, the simplest one is usually the best.

Best describe how to make the best Halo the movies...

i went to see the emily rose movie earlier today. (probably the least frightening way that particular story could have been told. but probably still one of the scariest movies ever.[campyness in most horror films always kills it for me]) it featured a trailer of doom the movie. i have to say it was prtty lame. they dont find hell on mars they complete the human genome. (???) bleh i remember seeing a petition here a while ago for them not to do this. (why didnt you sign?!) the monsters look better in the game, and the movie seems to have befalling the quota of your typical action flick of late. (very sad) the trailer also featured some very lame first person perspective action type stuff. if this is actually in the movie it will be very akward and embarassing.

1. I f*cking hope you do see the guy, it'll be like robocop otherwise

2. I hope hao 3 wont be a spinoff from the movie, i hate those badly made movie to game conversons and if micrsoft are concentrating on the movie the game could well be

3. I do think the movie could be pushing it a bit

4. Garland may be good at zombie movies but is he really up for a sci-fi one?

Halo 3 is almost complete and the movie hasn't even started filming so it's unlikely that the game is a spinoff of the movie.

Actually, Halo 3 is a sequel to Halo 2 which you should know if you played Halo 2 at all.

You sure they might not be doing a prequel first? It's the sort of thing I wouldn't put past them, especially given that they keep saying their next project "isn't Halo 3."

They could extend the cliffhanger a few more years, you know people'd still buy 3 if it doesn't come out for a few more years...

Reading all updates posted at Bungie.Net, the movie sounds to be a prequel, not the game.
There was a hint that they are in contract terms to deny all reports of a new Halo a couple of weeks back but anything could happen. As long as they don't release an all grunt game along the lines of Ewoks.
/shudders at the thought.

I probably would'nt like it, but hey...

They're setting it up to not fail so hopefully it wont flop. I think Bungie and Gang can pull it off. Perhaps Halo 3 will have a mini game featuring grunts. Perhaps online grunt multiplayer like the Jugernaught variant I was hoping for.
