Please dude, your smilie site is an eyesore, and a shame to the html language

Fine, it's not quite that bad, but it could use some sprucing up

I completely understand how you'd want to do all the dev'ving considering it's your baby and you will be doing all the uploading and updating, but Dreamweaver and I are always here for you if the need arises

Heres some suggestions:

-Make the text boxes wider so that you can highlight the whole (or most) of the addy at once.
-Use http://www.cjb.net or http://www.da.ru ; the bottom frame is very unsecksy
-The homestead banner ad is liveable, but if your are upto another home change, I suggest brinkster.com (i'd recommend f2s, but that requires ftp)
-Find a better gustbook thing. And lose the funky multicolored link

btw, your disclaimer rocks

I don't write html... I don't know shit about html...

The reason that the text boxes are that small is because the urls in them are way too damn long anyway. The small size allows for a slightly less cluttered look. And besides, all you have to do is click and drag to highlight the whole url in the text box anyways...

I use Homestead cuz it's easy. I would use another, but I don't want to write a shitload of html right now. So, the Homestead logo at the bottom is gonna have to stay (for now, at least).

And the guestbook is Homestead, too. There's not much I can do about all the crap on it.

I'll see if I can straighten out those link colors...

Thanks. I like my disclaimer, too. Maybe I'll make another... nah.

And thanks for the help and offer.

I'd like to meet a mad man who makes it all seem sane

Geez, lay off of Sarge!
He kicks the llama's ass with his smilies, but you gotta rag on him about his website. That's like having your woman (like you have one) say you have a nice unit......but have no idea where to put it.

hey sarge, i'll work on your site and make it a little better, put some neat javascript in, since i know html 2.0 and 3.0 fluently* , not as good with javascript, but im getting there.

*(yes, yes "fluently" is probably spelled wrong, so sue me.)

Thanks all for raggin' me about my site. The reason that it looks the way it does is because I wanted it to be as quick-loading as possible. I didn't want to put javascripts or anything else that would slow it down. I even removed the background and made it simply black. I appreciate all of the offers, but I'm gonna have to learn html on my own.

And yes, e-mail me more smilies. I want more. Gimme gimme gimme.

I'll repeat here that Sarge's main work is the smilies. They're good so who cares about the site whose only purpose is to hos and show them ?

Yeah, but I don't want my site to be ugly... Smilies are most important, yes.
