ghost rider

It is the best film I ever saw for now. Nicolas Cage is really great. He really fits the character.

The comic was terrible, and the movie looks even worse......... what redeeming qualities could it possibly have.......

Terrible story, even worse actor.

Just out of curiosity, how many movies have you seen?

I saw the trailer. I have no plans to pay money or waste bandwidth to see the movie.

Cage came off as the nervous, twitchy guy that he usually does in most of his movies. The only difference here was the advent of a horrible accent.

Does it really suck that bad? It came first in the box office. 44 mil. The previews seemed pretty good.

Norbit came in first in the box office when it opened, and it currently has a 9% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Compared to other comic book movies like the Spider-Man series, Batman Begins, etc., yeah, Ghost Rider was pretty bad. It wasn't as bad as Daredevil or Catwoman, and it does have some pretty cool visuals, but it wasn't a good movie in my opinion.

As far as I'm concerned, the man ruins any movie he's in.

I liked it, it was better than Fantastic Four by leaps and bounds.

Overall, though, I like Nicolas Cage, c'mon, Matchstick Men? The Weatherman? If you're going to base his entire career on his terrible films, (Face-off, Snake Eyes, etc) then do it with every other person in that business. Damon, Pitt, Depp, they were all in movies that either did terribly financial-wise or were just shit-boxes.

It was decent. Not awesome, but decent.

I haven't seen it yet, but I used to buy the comic book when I was a kid in the late 70's or so. Will have to check it out sometime.

Nicolas Cage is fantastic in his role. It may not be the best film, but you can watch it for Nicolas Cage.
