enter the matrix, pro as hell with all the trippy ways you can kill a person, hmm should i run up on the wall, jump off, and brake his neck with my boot; should i jump at him and put a few rounds in his chest; or should i do a cartwhell of the wall and spray him with bullets

Nothing, and I do mean nothing will top Final Fantasy 3 (or VI, how ever u want)

For PC: Starcraft, without quesiton.

I'm sorry Kill, but I must agree with Bizz. I have played EVERY FINAL FANTASY TO DATE (Final Fantasy, FFII(IV), FFIII(VI), FFV, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, and FFX) Chrono Trigger was far better. It had multipule endings. In fact it revolutionized the RPG Industry.

Quake and Starcraft have been my favorite ever since they were released. Other Blizzard games such as Diablo, Warcraft, Black Thorne, and The Lost Vikings were my favorite at their time, but got boring after playing too much unlike Quake and Starcraft.

My favorite game to date is Metroid Prime. Before that, it was Ocarina Of Time.

All the Mario and Zelda games kick ass, especially Mario 3 and A Link To The Past.

Ach, I'll have to split this one up by category.

Action: Super Metroid. Platforming at it's finest.
Fighting: Tie between Soul Caliber 2 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2
FPS: Half-Life. Great single-player, and the mods are buckets of fun.
Racing: The Gran Turismo series. Sim-tastic! Love the cars.
Straegy: Shogun: Total War. Just the strategy game I was looking for.
Other: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. Jedi rock.
RPG: Crono Trigger. Too good to let go.

I'm not much into fighting games, but KI kicks ass! I've got the soundtracks to both the original and KI Gold for the N64. Good music.

good? yes.

revolutionary? no. it didn't really do anything that hadn't been done before - it just did lots of good things that had been done before all at once

my favourite game of all time is either half-life or deus ex. in a larger picture, it'd have to be half-life, as i still play mods for it today. i enjoyed playing deus ex more at the time.

Zelda: Ocarina Of Time (And yes the water temple is a damn pain, forget one key and you have to change the water level twice then get it, then change it again, then you realise you forgot another key when you get to that god forsaken waterfall thingy and you need the iron boots. And that damn clone of you is the hardest thing on the entire game, way harder than ganondorf and GANON, haha look, i'm babbling)

Or Mario 64 when i played it, tried to again but it sucked second time around.

Or Sonic 2, great actually fun game to play.

Zelda OoT's water temp was not all that bad, I had an easy time with it, maybe it was a very well writen stratagy guide.
Also the cone of you was easy, you just do not target him, and use the hammer.

Zelda A Link to the Past is a bitch in my opinion, the monsters do too much damage and there are not harts anywhere, and the friggin fairys only revive 7 harts...

Well srat guides arer great when looking for hidden stuff, I like constant action, not having to mindlessly find stuff. So its all cool

the constant action is the mindless stuff having to find the hidden stuff is what requires the mental energy and the extra effort. link to the past isn’t that hard i first beat it when I was 12 years old (eleven years ago) w no guides. What does this all mean laz… just that you suck. try a game with out the guides and the LAZy walk thoughs.

Cant be to critical though my fist time through Zelda OOT, was on my PC using the emulator PJ64. The point of this is that with emu’s you benefit from the save state feature which allows you to save at any time and point in the game which is a great time saver (esp in the water level). Yet I can say I figured it out on my own, I just made the treck a bit more efficent.

Ok, first I did OoT with a Straty when I was in 6th grade, so shut up, that is about the only game I used one on. I dont like mindless action (doom, quake) I just dont like haveing to watch a damn sailboat go for about 7 min to get to an island that I will be there for 2 min, not fun.
I enjoy fun games. LttP is not that hard, Its just I have it for GBA and I dont ahve much time to spend on it.
I only use strats for finding randomly placed key game items.

I do like finding hidden items, but not the hidden kind that are impossible to get.

I rarely uses strats any more too, only if I am stuck.

emulators are bad...... only if they still make the games you get for free, if not, then go ahead, tehy cant lose money off it then. (ie, not GBA emulators)

completed it a while ago for $0.00, don’t own or want a GBA. Fusion was a good game the only problem was that it was too short. Nintendo has been gouging the software developers and the consumers for long enough, they were recently found guilty in Europe for artificially maintaining high prices (which they had to pay millions in restitutions). I owned a snes with a significant number of games for which I paid a hefty premium, now I am just acclimating.

Hey if you get a chance try out Advanced Wars, Castlevania: aria of sorrow, Golden Sun, you can pick them up at your local store for about $30-50 bucks or you can acquire them off the net at a very large discount. In the end its your money and your choice ; )

EfaustuS9, I own all of the games you mentiond, they are all really great. And NEVER pay more then $30 for a GBA game, that is insain.
Ya, Metroid is short, but quality over quanity... well to an extent. Golden Sun is a wonderful rpg, it is about the best I have ever played. Castilvaia, all 3 of them are quality titles, and deserved to get bough, hell CotM (1st) I was going for under $15 new. Just get a SP, they are great.
I dont mind roms of SNES/n64 games at all, but if the game is still out, just buy it, help support the devs for the quality game. If the game sucks, then go on and download it
