What's Your Next Purchase?

quite simply, What game are you going to buy next?

Max Payne 2 or Half-Life 2 are likely to be my next purchase, whichever comes out first.

FFX-2 possibly, depends if I can get around to finishing FFX first, just picked it back up again a year after I last played it and I'm hopeless at it, stuck on a boss, barely remember how the controls work

I've been pondering lately about purchesing a Playstation2, actually.

Games import to Israel is at rock bottom. I can't find any new titles...
The major player in the field seems to be very slow for what-ever reason and it's the same in the music importing field... Very frustrating. (And then people wonder why Israel is a sort of a pirates heaven... Can't blame them for thinking so, is there an alternative? Most can't purches online and we can't ask from our cousins to buy us stuff everytime they go abroad Anyways, I'm digressing here)

Console games seem to have a growing market here and new titles appear real fast and I want games(!) So, that's it. I'm buying a console.

As for the PC, if I were to buy a game now, it'd be Half-Life 2.

The Call Of Duty demo has really caught my attention - like Medal Of Honour, only better in every way. I'll certainly be buying that.

KOTOR, when it finally comes out for the PC is another must-buy-on-day-of-release game.

And Greyhawk: TOEE looks like it could be good as well. There's a demo out soon, so I'll give that a spin as well.

Oh, yeah, Half Life 2...

There's no need to tell me when I'm right;
I operate on that principle exclusively and with absolute certainty

Not sure what new games I'll be buying soon, but I know one thing I want... a new TV set. The one I have (a 16-year-old 27" Zenith console TV) works ok, but it's too big for the screen size, and the picture isn't as sharp as it needs to be with the game systems that are out now. Even though it isn't really good for playing hi-rez games on, it's great for watching pr0n, though.

Just re-pre-ordered Half-Life 2. I cancelled it after the stupid ass rumor about there going to be multiple version of the game. >_<

VC is far better than 3, Hellcopters, bikes, more cars, decent boats and best of all the sound track.

Half life 2 has been delayed until November, at least.

Looks like:

PC - Command & Conquer:Generals Zero Hour Expansion
Xbox - Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell 2

You won't be disappointed. This is a totally awesome game. And if you get the chance, pick up Metroid Fusion for the GBA, too...

i would think metroid fusion for gba would be awesome compared to metroid prime because metroid prime sucks donkey balls. im sorry a game without good controls can never be a good game since you cant control the game.

buy your version of metroid used from a gamespot or something if you save more than 10 dollars in doing so. just check the quality of the disc.

I've had the chance to play both Prime and Fusion, and Prime is the superior game to me. The main thing that brought Fusion way down to me was the sound. It was, well, subpar for the standard set by Super Metroid, and I know the GBA is capable of better sound quality than that. The music was just not up to snuff, and the level design was too linear. A good game, but not as good as its predecessor.
