X-men 3 : The Last Stand

I just saw the movie yesturday morning and to me it was as good as the first two X-men movies.

So to be clear, I mean it's not a wonderful movie, but just another blockbuster popcorn movie...

But one cool thing about this third opus is to see lots of new mutants and powers, at the end of the movie I wanted another movie (or a tv series based on the x-men stories) to see more of them.

STRONG ADVICE :
Stay until the very end of the final credits !!
Just like "Constantine", there's an extra scene that tells you more about what happened to one of the main characters... Don't think the end is when you see Magneto doing *what you know* alone in the park... (there too, you must look carefully).

I didn't saw it yet but I'm going to in a few days. I hope it's not lower then I expect.

Thanks for the tip. I've been waiting to see what happened to Dr. Jean Grey. I knew that they would bring her back. I didn't want to even know that, but they had it in the previews.

Seen it tonight, everyone knows about Xavier and the Irish, then there's Bishop roaming around somewhere I think. Killing people off for the hell of it wasn't what I was expecting but nice work anyway. Wolverine did seem a bit too un-Wolverine though.

I am so important I feel the need to let it be known like a liberal discovering the internets for the first time. Uh hur hur hur. I also wash myself with a rag on a stick.

Jean is hot.

I still need to check X3 out but from what I've heard so far it's definitly worth it.

It was great and surprisingly violent in the fact that so many people are incinerated including Xavier and Cyclops. That coupled with the fact that Magneto becomes powerless lead to a very strange and abrupt conclusion to the trilogy.

Warning: spoilers behind

Until Beast began kicking ass near the end of the movie, I was having a hard time accepting Kelsey Grammer in that role. I kept expecting him to sip a latte or have a staring match with Eddie.

So Magneto apparently will regain his powers and after the credits, it appears Professor Charles Xavier has transferred his mind into another body. So the story continues.

Is it ever explained in the strip how Magneto regains his powers?

Saw it a week or so ago. I thought it was a great movie, even though Jean pissed me off. I forgot to stay past the end credits, though.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago on DVD, and watching the last few seconds after the credits, can't wait for X4.

Hopefully it will involve more of the setinals that they teased us with at the start of the movie, keep cyclops dead(I always hated him) and I hope to god they introduce Gambit. Why has he been completely left out? Not like he's got a crappy power like Jubilee...

The beginning is the best part. Fast paced, jumping around showing the anti-mutant protests and such. It reminded be of the classic cartoon.

But then it slowed back down

X-Men makes a better TV series than it does movies.
