That makes me a quarter of a century old..

I got a Sony A350 (in short: a 14mp DSLR camera) and a wireless mouse/keyboard set for the computer that I'm building to hook up to my TV.

I stopped kickin' not when I reached a certain age, but when I reached a certain geographical location. Now that I have lost my reason to be here, I'll hopefully get back to kickin' again soon.

as for you, I hope I see you still kickin' at 50.

My grandmother (dad's mom) smoked until past 80, danced, drove, and worked FULL TIME as a switchboard operator well after 90, and drank wine EVERY DAY until her end. She almost made it to 96 but her body just couldn't keep up.

If that isn't kickin', I don't know what is. I can only wish to get out as much as she did.

So, don't worry about age. She'd likely rise from her grave to slap anyone who does.

oh yeah, ofcourse laughter can be healthy, its said that when you laugh, your body realeases its own painkiller, and there were a tiny amount of people who won fighting some injuries or diseases with humor.

i mean, treatments who cost the country and us millions of dollars, can be solved or reduced by laughter, thats really the main reason why people die after a major surgery, the pain and misery they go thru makes them deteriorate beyond repair, i think it has to do with hormones and the likes that are responsible for the immune system

Thank you all...

I didn't really ask for anything special this year. The baby's room is almost finished, so we asked for a contribution for what remains from my family and friends. That's basically just the blinds for the Velux window (couldn't find the general name for those windows). Prices start at a crazy €100 and go up quickly. There are officially just 10 weeks remaining until our little one is born if everything goes as scheduled... Time flies.

I'm celebrating with a good Tripel Karmeliet right now. I forgot how good it actually is. The smell alone..
