It's pretty amazing how a 4-month old (Forums time) person can out-voted a 9-month old one...

Just asking a mod : As much as a vote (and IP address) is private, can you check for any double account voter(s?) thru IP checking? (Sure, blame me for being paranoid)

I know at the viralsound forums I can check to see who voted, and what their ip addresses are, and those forums are run off the same basic engine as these. I believe that the mods should be able to check who is voting. We don't want any double votes.

hey, you got more votes than me, and one of mine was from myself. I'm not bothered either way as long as we don't get an evil, hitler-like mod

I don't think they'll care at the end of the day. Besides two users may share the same default gateway IP. i.e. Atero may not be signing up to vote for himself - it may be someone on the same broadband network (this is by the way an example - I don't need another name calling tantrum).
The best way is to simply allow people to list thier names in the forum - and perhaps make them eligable to vote from a predefined criteria.

I voted Atero.

It was a tie between Anubis and Atero, but Atero has been here MUCH longer than Anubis and is much more experienced.

Anubis, that single post showed either your stupidity or attempt at degrading your opponent(s?).

Anyways, my vote goes to...

No, I'm just curious what he has more "experience" with. There are many things that it could be talking about. I am not trying to say that he lacks experience at all, but Michael's statement was vague.

Well your not voting for "Miss Universe"... hmm...yeah definately not.
Vote for someone you feel maintains the values and attitudes you'd like to see upheld within the forum. A role model if you will.

I quote: "Time doesn't make you good, only love and devotion to the craft" (craft meaning a devoted forum member here)

If it were a time question i would beat atero, because i have registered earlier than he is. But it's not a time question and Anubis has proven in a very short time that he is devoted, knows a lot, is friendly and can control his temper *cough*

So time is not the issue here.

okay...if I searched long enough I could find, from the last few months, just as many posts where anubis "lost his temper" as i have. for the last time, you can't say i've "lost my temper" with anyone other than legohead lately. fark off.

LOL. This is great. You have been much better recently Atero. I know that when I first came into the AVS forums you were really making a lot of people mad. As far as I know, I have only made one person mad, but he was mad at you as well.

I sort of never noticed that you hadnt been making people mad. You just were the last time i payed that much attention and naturally, subconciously assumed that you were. You have my deepest and most apologetic apologies. No wait don't go i want to kiss your ass some more in-case you become a mod.

And the mods that we have governing these forums are serious? I mean, look at Bilbo - he's not exactly the definition of serious. A mod doesn't have to be serious all the time.

About this thread actually resulting in something - I don't know. I think it should have a result, but I am not sure what the mods think.

Yeah, but that moderator hasn't been able to watch over these forums recently, and even when he was here he still didn't spend as much time in the AVS forums.
