One thing has always bugged me about Superted.

Don't know Superted?! You should be ashamed of yourself.

I love Superted. I mean this guy has got it all going on. Let's look at the facts,

• He lives on a Space Station.
• His best friend is a Spotty Man.
• He has superpowers.
• He can talk - even though he's a bear.
• He is a bear! It doesn't get much cooler than that.

But there is one thing I never got about Superted. One mystery I never found the answer to. One puzzle for which I don't believe there is a solution. One, well you get the idea...

Why didn't he stay as Superted all the time? What was the point of Mother Nature giving him these special powers if he had to say a magic word every time he wanted to use them?

Look, the guy had one friend, and he knew that he was Superted, and one enemy (Texas Pete) and he knew that he was Superted! So a secret identity was a little pointless!

I don't know where I am going with this, but it's been bugging me for a long time and I think I'll feel better for getting it off my chest.

Edited - I do feel better. How odd.

He doesn't want to get mobbed in the street or taken away for research purposes by the government. I think that's fair enough.

Superted is pretty cool, but what about Bananaman? Everyone forgets Bananaman. They usually also forget how many syllables there are in Bananaman's name, too. Poor Bananaman.

How is he going to get mobbed? He's got super powers! Bananaman was way cool. But I always wondered what would happen when Eric grew up...

I did provide a link at the start, would it do you any harm to do a bit of research? I didn't think so. But that's the problem with people today, can't be bothered. I remember back in my day things were different. You could get a can of coke, a bag of crisps and a chocolate bar and still have change from a one pound note. And the music they listen to nowadays, Eminem, Pink, Kylie?! Sound like makes of washing powder to me. What happened to good music like Bing Crosby and Des O'Connor? Wooo, he has got a lovely voice! I'll tell you who I like, that Will Young. He's such a nice young man! He's always smiling. He makes time for people. To me that's the mark of a true star. You mark my words, he'll still be around in 10 years. He's a little belter he is. I love him! Anyway, I'd better get back to my housework. These plates aren't going to wash themselves! Dishwashers? These kids don't know how lucky they are. In my day we had to do it all by hand. Nowadays they have it all don't they? Satellite Television, mobile phones, wooo they annoy me. You're minding your own business trying to get home on the bus and someone starts shouting into his mobile phone. In my day we waited until we saw each other when we wanted to tell each other things. And now they've all got the bloomin' internet. Well I don't know what it's coming to. You used to be able to talk to people face to face but now it's just words on a screen isn't it? And you don't know who it is half the time. Why can't we just go back to the old ways? Things were much simpler then. I miss the good old days. Anyway you don't want to hear me going on about things, I expect you have a lot of things to do. That's the trouble these days, everyones too busy, no-ones got any time any more. I dunno.

You knew it?? Did you ever use it for yourself?

I never knew it - Superted always whispered it, and my hearing mustn't've been that crash hot, becuase no matter how square I let my eyes get by shoving my head right up to the screen, I could never make out what he was whispering.

I always liked danger mouse.

s0be

And On that day, the Lords of the land said unto their Master Architect, "The temple you have made to the gods of Wasabi and Maki has brought us no great prosperity" and they sent out him into the lands.

As he traveled to a far off land, he found he wasn't traveling alone, but that he had gained companions, and when they found their new land, they started work on a new temple, one that would be OPEN to all who wanted to worship.

The Thundercats stole so incredibly shamelessly from Star Wars, it's not even funny. Seriously, go back a decade or so and I'd've been one of the first to jump up and yell, "Thundercats! THUNDERCATS! THUNDERCATS! HOOOOOOO!!!!!", but after re-watching the first couple of episodes on video in about '99... yeah. It was really saddenning, actually. =/
