Help In Setting Up Winamp for Bit Perfect Play

Using WIN 7, and FLAC files, sent to a HRT Music Streamer ii External USB DAC.
Winamp with default settings seems to work wonderfully to me.
Most of my music is redbook 44.1khz/16bit.
I do have some 44.1Khz 24 bit stuff and some 96/24 bit stuff.
There is a 24 bit setting in the preferences.

Older XP setups had people using ASIO drivers etc...

With Win 7 this seems not necessary?

Are there any settings in Winamp that have to be on for bit perfect output to my USB DAC?
