Winamp 5.56

Installed winamp 5.56. It plays ok, but when I try to burn a CD, Winamp starts to flash on the burning screen and locks up

Also, you may want to find Winamp 5.666 as it seems to be very stable. I don't use it to make CD's however.

Like Suburban, I use ImgBurn. On everything between wXP and w8.1, it works like a charm. And it's portable, too!

I'm sorry I can't help you with your actual question, though.

(Anybody else? Using wAmp 5.56 to burn CDs?)

I dont think 5.666 allows cd burning by default.

For cd burning, better to stick to dedicated burning s/w like imgburn, ultraiso, nero, etc. But it's been more than a decade since i've burnt an actual cd!!! I thought they went extinct!

Also, check out clone cd. It works in cases where other cd burning apps fail.
