Got a Job as an Apple Technician

God oh God I don't know why but I have to for now. I just need enough money to get my life together, then I qill quit and go back to school.

The job pays WAY less than what I was making before but oh well. I fix Apple laptops. The position is contract. I'm okay with that. I don't plan on staying long anyways. They want me to work 7 days a week so that means no girls for the time being. Hey, there's plenty of that when I go back to school. ^^

For now that means I won't be foruming much and will definately resurrect old ass threads.

There's nothing wrong with Apple except lack of available software titles.

ONly thing I found good on APPLE is the G4 computers used for digital animation and art...not gaming..

Sorry Jones and the rest of the guys, I only troubleshoot the XServe G5 units. Those are incredibly hard to steal. Seriously.

Video editing is done way batter on Macs. Sad to hear it Starbucks. You are my best source of technology news. Perhaps you will find some hot coworker or some hottie with a broken laptop to help pass your time. You never know.

I got transfered from servicing Apple notebooks to servicing Xserve G5's because Apple wants to meet 600 units every 12 hours. I really really hate it and can't stand it much longer. Long hours, no days off, nothing to steal, not even a radio to pass time by. Argh I might quit tomorrow if they don't send me back to doing notebooks.

Will talk to boss tomorrow, if they don't give me notebook techie soon I will work for Albertson's or Wal*Mart instead.

I'm just too used to working on Microsoft products, as good as I've seen an Apple do stuff...
