Newbee Help

Hey Guys -

I am new to the file sharing thing but I want to learn. I just downloaded an .avi file but i can't get it to play on Winamp. is there a plug-in or a codec that i need to download. if so how do i find it and how do i install it once i do find it. thanks if you can help me

Use GSpot 2.52 to determine which DirectShow system filters/codecs are required.

In most cases, AVI's are usually DivX or XviD
in which case just install ffdshow

No extra Winamp plugins required.
