Winamp license. Using Winamp in an RPG Maker game?
Hello,
I have a question regarding the Winamp license. I'm developing a non commercial RPG Maker game, and I've been using an RPG Maker plugin from 2012 that lets you play old sound formats such as module files (.it, .xm) or console formats (NES and Game Boy music, for example) directly. However, this RPG Maker plugin uses some Winamp libraries to play the music. Is this OK? I mean, does this violate the Winamp license in some way? Lots of people have used this plugin, or older iterations of it, over the years, but I don't want to have any legal problems, since Winamp is (as far as I know?) proprietary software. This is the extension in question: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index...ript-3-5.2235/ Thanks! |
