A friend of mine is having trouble setting up a shoutcast server from his PC. He has a Dual ISDN line which is accessed via a network. He set everything up fine but the stream seemed to be broadcasting across the LAN only. When I tried connecting to his IP address it said "Error could not connect" or something similar. I tried setting up a server at home (I have 2 PCs networked with a dial-up connection) and the same thing happened - Zonealarm said data was being sent, but the Internet connection icon did not light up and no data was being sent through the modem. I tried setting the IP address to my IP (from http://www.whatsmyipaddress.com) but to no avail. Also tried closing down ZoneAlarm but no luck. Any ideas?

If you have an Internet and a LAN connection then you have TWO IP addresses. You need to find the one that is for the Internet to broadcast over the Internet. Also, make sure you set your SrcIP in sc_serv.ini.
