Music Button Launches Media Player

The music button on my keyboard launches Windows Media Player.
I would like it to launch WinAmp. I don't see where to edit the program that it launches. I tried IntelliType Pro 7.1 64-bit for Windows 7, but it launched WinAmp INSIDE of Windows Media Player... very strange.

The play, stop, next, etc. buttons control WinAmp just fine.

Keyboard: Dell SK-8165
System: Dell XPS 9000
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64

Thanks,
Drew

i've not tried it but it looks like you'd need to change the default program in Windows to be Winamp. found this (step 7) which shows how to change it from another external thread asking for what you've asked for -> http://www.techtalkz.com/windows-7/5...ndows-7-a.html

Thanks!
That worked.
I don't think I needed to give WinAmp control over all of the file types that it can open.
I think this is the part that did the trick:
Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs > Set Program Access and Computer Defaults > (click on Custom) Choose a default media player: Winamp

Thanks,
Drew
