organize all artists songs under 1 artists name/folder?

I have Winamp loaded on my Win8.1 pc with no issues. When I look at my phone under “artists” there may be 5 of the same artists with multiple albums and then songs.

How can I organize all artists songs under 1 artists name/folder?

I would actually recommend MusicBrainz Picard for organizing your music collection. With 240 Artists, 370 Albums, 4611 songs total this made a very quick and efficient process of organizing your music.

Would those 5 of the same artists happen to have a featured artist in the song?

What the phone likely looks for is the ID3 tags in the songs and sorts the music in that fashion.

not sure I understand the Q but if you use folders like this:

..\album artist\album\songs.mp3

and id3v2.3 tags, and use the album artist tags in them, it should work right.
