aftershock, is good if your a wuss, just watch out, the blue one is really strong, overpoweringly so, takes like listerine almost, but more minty. I hate everyone, so you don't have to. |

DRINK BEER NOW

Basics:
Vodka Whisky (or Whiskey, depending on what you get)(includes Bourbon, Scotch, etc.) Gin Rum Tequila Brandy Some Liqueurs/Mixers, choose based on what drinks you plan to make. And of course some wine. I would recommend prioritizing in that order and you'll be in good shape for just about anything. If you want suggestions/reviews of brands, tell me and I'll provide links to reviews and my own opinion (if I've had it). Don't forget to live before you die. ![]() |

I wasn't that plastered. But, suggest for me a good gin because I love martinis (I've liked them since long before I was legal).
Given the choice, though I often prefer a wine to a cocktail. Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway. |

Jager for the win. Somehow, it stretches time and space leading to two day drunks followed by two days of hangover.

Seconded. Newcastle is easily my favorite ale, Easily my favorite thing to drink when in the mood for alcohol. Harp is good too, Killian's is okay but for the poser Irish (It's owned by Coors), but for a good time had by all--Guinness. Unless you're more of a Jameson's cat. Nuthin like a good Irish coffee. Oh, and Hi, Guys. This is my first post in umpteen million years. |

Nice to see you back, Fickle.
Damn good Gin: In my opinion: Hendrick's Gin Hard to find sometimes, but worth the search. A seemingly perfect blend of all ingredients to make what I think defines what gin should taste like. It's hard to describe in words what makes it so perfect; I guess it just has to be tasted to understand. Hendrick's is to gin as Pavarotti's music is to Opera. Bombay Sapphire Much easier to find, and to me, it's only second to Hendrick's when tasted side by side. It has all the taste a gin drinker expects while still smooth as the fine crystal martini glass it's meant to be poured into. Tanqueray No. 10 I put this one in there because it does have a very refined taste and is a favorite of people who prefer a little less Juniper taste and more of the other botanicals and citrus flavors. Because of it's lighter Juniper taste, it can help transition a non-gin person to enjoy good gins, and it can be further tamed in mixed drinks where the recipe calls for gin yet the drinker isn't too sure they want a gin drink. Don't forget to live before you die. ![]() |

So, I feel like the novelty has already thankfully worn off. I took out a pint glass, poured a Killian's and just drank it for the sake of enjoying it and not to get drunk. That was all the alcohol I had and it really was great. This is far better than the whole getting smashed all the time thing.

![]() I like Beefeater in a G&T, but not often. Tanqueray is very distinct. I've like that in certain mixes. Campari is made also from Juniper berries. Campari and Tonic is a great apéritif! (Hic) |

Prosecco and peach nectar for before dinner Bellinis. A good Merlot to go with dinner and then depending on locale and weather conditions, either Gin/tonic water and a lime, dark rum and ice cubes or Laphroaig, neat.

Let's see...
When I was drinking I would have probably gotten a bottle of Vodka, but not just any vodka. The cheap stuff. The kind that you find on the bottom shelves. You know, the stuff that costs $4.50 for a gallon. It tastes harsh, burns on the way down, and makes for one hell of a hangover. My buddies and I would line up shots of the shitty vodka and see who pukes first. good times. Really though, I have been craving some Vanilla Grey Goose mixed with 7up. mmmm. Jager straight up sounds pretty good too. or Jack and Pepsi. I always got the worst looks when I mixed those, but who cares? I was the one drinking it. |

I'm not rich at all, but when it comes to food and drinks, I go for damn good shit. If I can't afford it, I just don't have any drinks till I can afford a good one.
In college this wasn't exactly the case though. $11.99 bought a 36 pack of Bush Light or a case of Beast Ice. Don't forget to live before you die. ![]() |

Ted, suggest me a good rum, if you would. A lot of students here consider captain to be good. I was under the impression that it was mediocre at best.
