itunes vs winamp

i love winamp so much more than itunes
but theres two functions of itunes that i like
1) the crossfader - yes, i know winamp techincally has one, but the one itunes is better (unless im just not setting the winamp one right)
2) the playlists in itunes are convenient to just simply add songs to playlists

1. Unless you define "better" #1 is meaningless.

2. Winamp supports playlists too!

1) like the winamp fader fades out of songs, and into the next.. the itunes kinda fades from one song into another
know what i mean?
2) i mean like be able to use the right-click and add to a play list.. i guess

1) Built-in crossfader issues:

2) Right click in the Media Library > Sent To. Next version will have a list of playlist currently in the Media Library in there too. Otherwise, Winamp has had playlist support since before iTunes existed.

1) SIIICK
i didnt realize i had to toggle that
i <3 u

2) i know .. ive used winamp foreeeeever
itunes is just for my ipod
i dont use media library
just the main window + playlist
i think winamp should have a folder where u store playlists and then u can just easily right click and add songs to the playlists u created (and easily load them)

That is what the Media Library is for. It has a convinient place for all your playlists, plus you can use it to sync your iPod.

Yeah the media library really does all of that already pretty well. If you don't use it, I can't see complaining about it not being there... if the media library's support for the iPod isn't good enough, remember ml_ipod still exists and is in fact better than ever.

yea i know what ur saying
im notta fan of media library
the reason ilove winamp, and always have
is because i leave it docked on top with "always on top" with just the main screen and playlist
so it doesnt take much space, and i can easily play songs
