Ape plugin 3.99

I am looking for the media-monkey ape plugin version 3.99.

All the links that were posted in this forum (to Media monkey site) are dead.

Any clue as to where that plug-in can be downloaded?

Thanks

The only problem is that after installing Monkey's audio I do not have the option to install the Winamp plug-in! Although the help file describes this option in the Options section I do not have it (actually I do not have the whole General section of Monkey's audio Options!!)

Any suggestions?

Try looking for the plug-in installer file under C:\Program Files\Monkey's Audio (or where ever you installed Monkey's Audio) and run the installer from there.

Thanks mekd.

It works for playback but it does not allow format conversion. Winamp says: can't find decoder. So guess we're stuck with decompressing it to wav 1st

the plug-in author needs to update the plug-in to support the new interfaces which have been added since 5.0 was released such as the decoding interfaces.

DebugMe:

You can use FLAC or WavPack in future, both are lossless formats and for my personal taste a bit better than APE files. Both formats compress the files lossless and have tagging support, which raw wav files haven't.

Winamp has an own flac decoder, which supports all 5.x features. Also the WavPack decoder from the Essentials Pack supports all Winamp 5.x features.

FLAC:

WavPack:
