Finding your place

I have several playlists containing from a few hundred to a few thousand files each.
Say you are listening your way through a list but then you have to stop and play some from another list. When you return to your first playlist, perhaps a week or two later, how do you find your place?

I like to work my way through the longer lists and not start over every time. In MediaMonkey I scroll down watching the last played date until I find my place. As far as I can see WinAmp doesn't allow "Played Last" in the Playlists.

Since I see no one else here complaining about this I assume there is a work around that I haven't figured out?

There seems to be no metadata that I can use for last played either but doesn't it have to exist if it is used in the media library?

I'm becoming unhappy with MediaMonkey and would love to switch over permanently but I'm afraid this is a deal breaker for me if I can't figure it out.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
