Using Keyboard Media Buttons with WinAmp?
Hey,
I'm trying to make my keyboard's play, fwd, back, stop, pause buttons work with winamp. It seems like there should be a simple answer--I searched and didn't find anything. Global hotkeys doesn't recognize the buttons. FWIW, this is an HP Media Center PC. Any help would be much appreciated. Seems like I got these to work before but I forget how. Thanks all. |

Is there a keyboard utility that lets you select which application for the MM keys? Perhaps an icon in the tasktray or in the Control Panel.
Are you using a HP MultiMedia keyboard or another MM keyboard? Apparently HP uses a non standard format for their MM-keys. Maybe one of the following plug-ins... HP Multimedia Button Support |

That's it! RM-X worked before, I think. I'm trying it out now. Thanks for your response.

That post (and this thread) is over a year old.
Home Page for RMX RMX Media Edition <--- AFAIK, that is the current version of the Winamp plug-in. |
