Media Keys and Songticker problem
Hi!
I recently got my new lenovo laptop which has media keys accessible with the Fn key. I already configured Winamp to ignore the Volume up/down events (I just disabled volume control for the output plugins, I'm not gonna adjust the volume in winamp anyway). But the other media keys seem to have a weird problem... Everytime the songticker appears, the media keys don't work. I can change songs, stop playback etc. anywhere anytime, but just not when the little songticker is shown... I really would like to keep the ticker AND the media control, but how can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance! |

what do you mean by 'little songticker is shown'? might be simpler to post a screenshot of what you mean as what i know as the songticker is always present on any skin in use. also a plug-ins list (see http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....161361#plugins) could be helpful.
most likely a lack of response is from not having enough information provided to begin with to make sense of the issue. also no one has to reply on here as support is predominately done by other users so if they don't know then they won't reply. -daz |

I just wanted to bring it up again ![]() With songticker I mean this little popup: ![]() (it's called songticker in the skin preferences of Bento) It displays information about the track that just began to play (it fades in and out) It's nice and I would like to keep it, but not skipping through songs is important too ![]() I noticed furthermore, that the media keys work flawlessly when I'm not focused to any window (f.e. when I'm on the desktop). I never installed or uninstalled any Plugins, it's a fresh and only some days old install of winamp, the problem was from beginning on ![]() Edit: actually I was wrong... I don't know why I memorized songticker, it's actually just notification >_> |
